Hi everyone. I recently built an aviary and decided finches were the birds for me. After scouring the countryside I managed to track down some finch breeders who not only got me started with my own collection, but also provided some great advice. Part of that advice was to join the Aussie Finch Forum!
The finches I currently have are - Double Bars, Painted Firetails, Gouldians, Cordon Bleu's and a solitary Ruddy. I've found out that in a very short period of time that having finches is a very addictive past time. Even my wife is starting to get into it!
Anyhow, thanks for letting me on the forum and looking forward to learning more about finches and sharing experiences.
