So I'm thinking ( not talking )to myself today and the question arises ...what would I be doing if not for my birds ?

Think about it folks and share your answers if you want to ...I know I'm interested to hear what you all say . :D

I would somewhat feel that my life is incomplete, life would probably be plain old boring without them.

Did that. Between my marriage at 20 and building 1st house at 25. Have no interest in doing it again.

To me it would mean more money and time would be able to be spent on Racecars. Have always been around birds because of dad showing Canaries back in his day and Finches, Parrots and Cockatoos now.

As the last poster said, I would have a lot more time and money to put into other hobbies, like boats, fishing (as a bi-product of the boat), bikes, cars etc. oh yeah, and the kids...almost forgot about them.

Count-Down is on for me for a life without birds. I pulled all the nests out yesterday and if ther aren't any hatches in the next week the other 2 nests go too and then the birds all go by the end of November. You'd think I would be sad but the opportunites back in Australia will be so much better. I think the technical term is delayed gratification. Long-term for a life without birds isn't on my plan.
