Our little Tails

This is our little Scaly Breasted Lorikeet, Tails.

We got him when he was supposedly 6 weeks of age, which would make him 11 weeks this week.
We're not too sure if they were telling the whole truth about the age, as everything we looked at, he was a lot smaller and had a lot less feathers for others of the same age!

We're calling him "him", even though we don't know what he is yet.

The vet suggested we wait until he has fully fledged before having him DNA sexed.

So here he is

He's just about weaned, we've got him down to one feed per day. He then has his dry, fresh fruit daily and wet mix.
He's just started flying, and he loves to do it, even when he could just hop from one person to the next, he'd prefer to fly... lol
