hi ever waded through the countless parrot ads for finch ads in pet link.
If we all email them and ask for a separate section for finches. (or even all birds besides poultry and parrots) they should go for it. They have separate sections for alpacas and invertebrates for crying out loud.

only email address i could find is

if anyone wants to they can cut and paste the letter i wrote them

Dear Sir /Madam
I am a finch keeper and look in your ads regularly. I find the service most helpful however I feel it would be improved greatly if the bird section contained a separate section for finches, (or even all birds besides poultry and parrots).
Their are a lot of finch keepers like me who also find it frustrating to wade through hundreds of Parrot ads each time we check the classifieds. The Finch section could easily accommodate the wanted and free in the same column.

I've sent them emails every six months for a non-parrot section but no reply . Remember you can always hit f3 and just search for finch and it will bring up all the finch ads.

I think they wont do it as you have a look at it now. Wanted ads geting into the For Sale section. You will have Parrot ads in the Finch section Cows, Ducks etc etc.
Breeding Show Zebra Finches, Blue Gouldians, Pied Orange Breast.

There is always the occasional ad posted in the wrong section. "Isa browns point of lay" in the bird section ect. I can't see any reason why this will be more frequent if there was a finch section or why it would matter.
The biggest chance we have is to hassle them enough.

If you do write an email to them please write a short note here (140 veiws only one has said they sent one)

thx Blue butterfly
