Hi all thanks for the warm welcome,The weather over here affects our breeding season greatly last year was very poor for most , loads of clear eggs, this year has been a little better, we are not as lucky as you you guy,s weather wise .So far i,ve breed 11 cubans 5 red winged pytilla 7 green singers and 2 painteds Only had Lavenders 4 months but 1 pair have bonded and look quite promising for next year. the other pair have only just been DNAed ,Have locked the birds up in heated birdroom for the winter now, will try to breed some in new bird room over winter. Some birds are very hard to get hold off over here since the import ban.Would love to know how easy it is for you guy,s to obtain birds over there The price of birds have shot up over here since the ban .Lavenders £150 -£200 red cheekedCordons £120-£140 and painteds £140-£160 a pair
