Hi all,
I have these RH Goulds that i intend on breeding this year { Photo enclosed } The hen on the bottom of the picture is crying out for the Male above her
in the picture for some action, Head bowed, tail quivering, etc, He has only recently finished moulting, Maybe he's not ready yet or there is no attraction ??
Time will tell i surpose !!

Oh well i had nothing to lose , I put this [ hopefully pictured } Cock with her and within 5 mins they clicked !!. He was the one i had put on about being too young !!
Mum is sitting on about 5 egg's at the moment, and both are doing the normal thing's , swapping shifts etc. hopefully all goes well ??

Cheers Freddy :shh:

As I believe you are breeding indoors you might be OK Freddie. I won;t be letting mine breed again till the heat of summer is over. Probably round Easter here.

As Finchbreeder said my finches are all indoors, the hottest it get's in here is about 30 Degree's and my Birdroom about the same !!
They seem to like the hotter weather, but maybe not for breeding outdoors ??

Cheers Freddy
