Hi All,

I have recently become a member, made a few posts and met a few folks and would like to say "thanks for the warm welcome"
As long as it is OK with the moderators I have plugged the Aussie Finch Forum and put a link to it on my Finch Blog.

I would like to say a hello to everyone but particularly some of the Sydney Members. Since getting back into finches in my small way at my apartment (unit) on the balcony I have become involved with a few of the local finch clubs. I am a new member of the Finch Society of Australia (St Marys branch) and of the NSW Finch Exhibitors Society, I may also get involved with the Zebbie Club too in the near future.

Lately I have become quite interested in Self Bengos and I guess that is because for a start they are well suited for me to breed and enjoy on my balcony at home but I am sure that my interest is well established for the future. Through the forum I hope that I might meet some people in Sydney that keep finches and may also be interested in keeping the Selfs.
Rest assured that once I can get into a house I will be setting up some aviaries and keeping some of the other Finch Species that I am so fond of.
