Thats the type of thing Ive been looking at. Just didnt realise there were powered ones and unpowered. Might just get one of the cheap ones and see how I go. Will always be handy as a spare for the other laptop if I need to upgrade.

That's right, all you have to do is take the other one out and put the 4 port one in, if for whatever reason you may wanna use the new one in another laptop, all you have to is remove it and put the old one back in. Hubs are OK but I can't stand to much dingle-dangles around my computer.bluebutterfly213 wrote:Thats the type of thing Ive been looking at. Just didnt realise there were powered ones and unpowered. Me neither, currently my laptop looks like its trying to consume black spaghetti. Im hoping to plug in the hub, plug in all the peripherals in the hub and push the whole lot behind the laptop...out of sight out of mind.Netsurfer wrote:Hubs are OK but I can't stand to much dingle-dangles around my computer.
