Could this be the out come of an F2 cross? From the pic the plumage at the change of colour seems a little "rough"

To me it looks different to red ear parrot finch as they don't have turquoise colour under blue mask.Interesting
Thanks for the share Myzo. I have come to be very fond of the parrot finches. Especially the blue and red faced. The bird in photo looks like a blend of the two. LOL.
