Hi all, I have just made a new batch of eggfood mixing in couscous.Did a search on this forum and no positive returns for couscous.Surely there is someone out there that uses it.Hope it's OK :)

its a pasta so I guess in moderation wont hurt , just not sure of salt content as it is made for human consumption so will be altered to suit our taste buds/

Good point they sell them with added flavours or bleached.I bought san remo brand says 1oo% Durum wheat semolina.Gave it a taste might try cooking it for the family as well.Not bad as they say!Nice texture.

I bought some last week to try with the birds, got the wrong packet though, I wanted the wholegrain.

I do use cous cous when I want to moist soft food without adding boiled eggs. I use it twice a week when breeding

I found another recipe to couscous mixture and that is to stir in a little honey as you add the hot water.

Its yummy with the Mauritius style curries but I guess the birds don't eat curry do they ? :shifty:
