Hi, Into my 7 week of our 3 month trip have got some great photos of birds .Went to a place called Carowine Gorge near Marble Bar WA. Camped there budgies everywhere and star finches flocks of them. This is a photo of a beautiful wedge tail eagle I watched for ages and stars on a branch.

Great photo of the wedgetail, but I can't see the stars? Or is it just my poor old eyes? Or maybe they're inside the eagle? :lolno:

I think the stars might be in Lyn's other post.

Trouble with the Wedgies is the people who don't know you have to slow for them if you see them on roadkill. Remember a lady from the city couldn't understand why the Wedgie didn't fly faster so as to not go through the windscreen of her nice new 4 wheel drive. Was so hard not to tell her she was a git and should have slowed down.
