Not good with genetics, but I do know that when I've breed a creasted with a normal I get about 50% creasted and 50% normal but when I breed the non creasted young with a creasted I find that they produce about 90% creasted, so to me I call them a split I could be wrong in the naming as splits are generally used with colour. As for the non creasted young I see no difference on the Crown to a normal bengo, but this is just my breeding stock.

Thanks guys. Glad to know it.djb78 wrote:I do know that when I've breed a creasted with a normal I get about 50% creasted and 50% normal but when I breed the non creasted young with a creasted I find that they produce about 90% creasted,
Got my new babies yesterday. It's funny, I didn't expect the breeders to know the sex of the birds, but I asked if they knew which were hens and which were cocks. One breeder said he could tell for sure, giving me a "hen". Well "she" sure acts like cock.

No Harvey you will need to start a topic on its own .....do you know how ? would you like me to do it for you ?
Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.
