thanks southy,i will only dibble with them.this pair i nearly bought for $400 the hen was yellow backed split to blue.but want to try with splits first.

There's nothing more exciting than breeding blues. We accidently bred blues from two Rh, Wb, Greens. They had 3 blues in the one hutch. 1 has already died and whilst the other 2 don't look the picture of health they used to, they seem to be happily living on. However they are a constant stress that they are going to die. Be glad when this colder weather is up (I know it's only just began) and we don't have to wake up every morning wondering it there's any fatalities.
All the best with your blues. Hope they breed well for you. Oh and by the way, S76 is a wormer as well as mite control. It's safe for babies, either put in water or apply directly to back of neck.

i know that blues are weak and can die very easly from the cold some people have told me that u can bring in the blues in like a cabinet inside out of the cold so maybe u could try that and hopfully they dont die good luck with the blues
