Just quoting from that sight.
" Moxidectin also acts at these two sites but at two further sites as well. Both drugs are metabolized by the liver, but moxidectin to a lesser extent, making it safer to use in birds with underlying liver problems such as Chlamydia, Salmonella or Herpes virus. When moxidectin and ivermectin are compared, moxidectin is more potent and is also more soluble in fat (i.e. lipophilic), which means that it is more persistent in the body, exerting its effect for longer. It is because of these reasons that moxidectin is often preferred over ivermectin"

Very interesting reading.
Dose a better job, lasts longer & a little easier on birds with under lying problems.

It looks like you can only get it through a Vet. Is that correct?

It says to repeat after 14 days. Anyone using this? Is it any good?
Was it hard to get Diane & let us know how it goes.

I did use Worm-Enda at first (pink stuff) didnt lose any birds with it but cant say I noticed any difference either, not that I knew what I was looking for at the time!
I got the moxidectin from a place called Camsal Aviaries in Elizabeth (near the Holden factory)
