I see that as a juvenile Brown Goshawk, not a sparrowhawk, due to the long middle toe. :)

Nathan,
I am told the hawk came back today and sat on the aviary roof. I have a lot of young quail running around, so I think their movement may be attracting the BOP. Solution: sell the quail this week.

The BOP will be checking out the finches too...selling the quail I don't think will get rid of him........

to stop mine I covered mine with shade cloth (the aviary that is ) so he cant stand on top of the aviary and torment the birds, dont give him a plce to get a grip, as the aviary he keeps going to has no quail in wat so ever...pete
