Mealworm pupae - nutritional value??

I put a piece of cuttlefish in each mealworm colony, as to wether it is of any assistance to the birds I have no idea.
Just figured that if the worms eat the cuttlefish and then the birds eat the worms then surely some of the cuttlefish is going to be passed along to the birds.
